The Active Stereo DI from Warm Audio, featuring premium CineMag USA transformers, is crafted to preserve the true character of high‑impedance stereo sources—including piezo pickups, passive bass guitars, and other low‑output instruments. ACTIVE AND PASSIVE
The Stereo DIs are available in both active and passive variants, and this active model’s selectable active circuitry is powered by +48V from your console or interface’s mic preamp input. Engaging this active circuitry enhances headroom, giving you more signal to work with before clipping. You can also engage the active circuitry on each channel independently, thereby blending a high-impedance signal on one channel with a low-impedance signal on the other.
This is especially useful for acoustic guitarists looking to streamline their setup by blending their high-impedance guitar pickup signal with a low-impedance microphone signal using only a single box. The Active Stereo DI can also go fully passive with a simple flick of a switch, allowing it to handle hot sources and remain functional when +48V phantom power isn’t available.
