ULTRA SMOOTH FADERS WITH CUSTOMIZATION
The Xone:43 simply feels great to perform with: not only is it reassuringly rugged, the faders have an exceptionally smooth feel to them. Many DJs rely on custom Innofader crossfaders for their rigs, so we’re pleased to see that the Xone:43 supports those too. However, you’ll probably find that the built-in crossfader will hold up to advanced techniques like twiddles and crabs without missing a beat.
The Xone:43 boasts Allen and Heath’s renowned analogue Voltage Control Filter (VCF) system. The lowpass and highpass filters, frequency sweep, and “mild to wild” resonance control give you fine-tuned control of taking your mixes into sonic territory only confined by your imagination. And an effects loop allows you to connect your favorite effects units, routing right back in through the filter system. These are high-end features on a mixer in this price range!
INS AND OUTS
The Allen & Heath Xone:43 features a comprehensive and professional array of inputs and outputs designed for versatile setups. Each of its four main channels is equipped with dual RCA inputs (selectable for Phono with high-quality RIAA preamps or Line), a balanced 1/4″ TRS Line input, and a dedicated XLR microphone input on Channel 4, allowing seamless integration of turntables, digital players, instruments, and a mic.
For outputs, it provides balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA Master Outs, a separate Booth output with its own level control, a balanced 1/4″ TRS Record Out, and a high-quality Send/Return effects loop. Additionally, it includes two stereo aux inputs on RCA, a crossfader assign switch for each channel, and comprehensive routing for its famous analog filter section, making it a central hub for both performance and recording.
