The Adam Audio A4V is a two-way speaker with a 4-inch long-throw woofer built of the same Multi-Layer Mineral (MLM) fibers as the other A Series speakers, as well as the traditional X-ART tweeter. Onboard DSP-based tuning features allow you to effortlessly dial in the ideal sound for your environment.
With a frequency range of 52 Hz to 45 kHz, the A4V can support a wide range of audio applications, from podcast production to string quartet mixing, and will work well in immersive and 3D setups.
DIGITAL SIGNAL PROCESSING
The A Series capitalizes on the transformative power of DSP-based electronics to provide greater tuning precision than analog-only speakers. A “Voicing” is a pre-defined sound profile of an A Series monitor. On the back panel, you will find two different selections, “UNR” and “Pure”.
On the back panel of A Series speakers, you will find four bands of room adaptation equalization: Bass, Desk, Presence and Treble. The A Series combines the best of both digital and analog worlds. ADAM Audio is proud to partner with Sonarworks on an automated room correction solution that runs directly on the DSP of A Series monitors.
A CONTROL REMOTE SOFTWARE
The backplate of A Series monitors has a number of equalization and tuning options, however it is frequently inaccessible from the listening sweet spot. Using A Control, you may adjust these settings from the comfort of your sweet spot while remaining secure in your choices.
For certain users, the backplate alternatives may not provide enough variety and accuracy. A Control allows you to fine-tune six bands of parametric equalization and low and high shelf filters. Each filter band’s gain, frequency, and Q value may be freely modified, giving the user total control over the sound of the loudspeakers in the room.
