STEM SEPARATION FOR NEW MODERN DJ’ING
The DDJ-REV5’s inbuilt compatibility with Serato DJ Pro and rekordbox isn’t simply for transferring files between two USB-C-connected laptops. When using Serato DJ Pro, dedicated, backlit pads are meant to allow rapid access to stems from any track, separated by vocals, drums, basses, and melodies. Stems are separated in rekordbox by voices, drums, and a more inclusive instrument category.
You may even modify the level and mute individual stems for dynamic, real-time mixing and mash-ups. Deck Move and Dual Deck modes provide even more freedom, with the former allowing for one-button deck movement and the latter letting you to handle both decks on either side simultaneously. When you combine these elements, your creative potential for mind-blowing remixes and mash-ups is nearly endless.
BATTLE-STYLE DESIGN
Pioneer DJ aimed to combine the tactility and ethos of analog-style open-format scratching with cutting-edge control with the DDJ-REV5. Each big jog wheel is textured to seem like a vinyl record, and the ultra-precise Magvel crossfader is made of tough metal to withstand the most vigorous beat juggling.
The jog wheels may further be modified with the Jog Feel feature, allowing you to dial in the ideal weight for your personal style. With so many onboard performance features to use, you may find yourself longing for extra hands. Auto bpm Transitioning is another great function from Pioneer DJ that might aid with this.
