The Adam Audio A7V is a modern 2-way monitor that is a progression of ADAM Audio’s award-winning A7X. It has a 7″ Multi-Layer Mineral woofer and a rotating X-ART tweeter that is handcrafted in Berlin. Frequency Response 40 Hz – 45 kHz
The free-to-download A Management software provides for remote and real-time control of DSP-based voicing, equalization, and room correction options, and updatable firmware enables for additional filters and tunings to be applied during the monitor’s lifespan.
DSP & VOICINGS
When compared to analog speakers, DSP-based monitors have a significant edge in terms of predictability. DSP-based electronics benefit from constant crossovers, filters, and equalization, which deteriorate in analogue-only circuits. ADAM Audio deliberately chose audiophile-standard converters to offer exceptional performance for signal conversion.
DSP is also responsible for the A Series’ several additional features, such as remote operation, local equalization, and voicing choices. With software that can be updated over the ethernet connection, you can anticipate ADAM Audio to add the newest DSP-based capabilities over time, such as new filter types and functions, as well as alternate voicings.
“A CONTROL” REMOTE SOFTWARE
There are a lot of equalization and tuning settings on the backplate of A Series monitors, although they are sometimes unreachable from the listening sweet spot. You may alter these settings from the comfort of your sweet spot while staying confident in your decisions if you use A Control.
Backplate options may not provide enough variety or accuracy for some users. You may fine-tune six bands of parametric equalization as well as low and high shelf filters using a Control. The gain, frequency, and Q value of each filter band may all be freely adjusted, allowing the user complete control over the sound of the loudspeakers in the room.
