The 4-deck solo playback of the OPUS-QUAD allows for flexible DJ performances. With only one device, you may play four songs on four distinct decks at once, cue up tracks in advance, or keep a deck open for incorporating requests into your set at any time. Also, you may give each deck a unique color that corresponds with the jog ring lighting so that you always know which deck you are using.
NEW DIMENSIONS OF SONIC EXPLORATION
With the newly created user interface with an electrostatic touch module, you can find your music faster and more accurately than ever before. No matter how large your music library is, you can instantly search for songs using the keyboard on the 10.1-inch touch screen or swiftly switch between playlists with Playlist Bank. You may even preview tunes while browsing using Touch Preview. The brand-new Smart Rotary Selector allows push, rotation, left/right, up/down, and joystick-like operation. And the other browsing controls are thoughtfully positioned around the selection so you can browse your music library, preview tracks, and load them without having to move your hand.
With a sleek deck configuration that has a deck display and 8 Hot Cue buttons above each full-size jog wheel, you can control the music. With this setup, you can manipulate tracks and examine things like the track information, parameters, and status of each function without having to shift your sight. Also, you may immediately replace the current cue location with the recalled Hot Cues using the new Smart Cue feature*. As a result, using Hot Cues with only one touch is now easier and quicker than before.
HIGH CLASS COMFORT & SMART FEATURES
It’s simple to add texture and tension to the music with the OPUS-advanced QUAD’s effects, allowing you to energize the crowd and customize your sound using Beat FX. Because Beat FX settings and the filter’s cut-off frequency are controlled by movement on the X and Y axes, respectively, and you can mix both effects with a single finger, the XY-Pad makes it simple to operate functions like FX Bank and channel pick.
The well-known Smooth Echo function allows you to quickly initiate an echo sound by adjusting a fader or knob that has been pre-assigned to perform the effect when it is activated.
MORE ZONES & WIRELESS APPROACH
Thanks to the zone output – which can output sound that’s separate from the master – you can play different music in different rooms from just 1 OPUS-QUAD.
For example, you could connect a phone to the unit via Bluetooth and set a playlist of background music to play quietly in a bar area or second room where people are socializing while you mix tracks from a USB device in the main room.
