Pioneer DJ’s CDJ-3000 provides hands-on control, from the large 9″ multicolor touchscreen to the highly adjustable response of the redesigned jog wheel. Aside from the extremely sharp touchscreen, some of the features we like best about the CDJ-3000 include its eight Hot Cue buttons, which you can color code in rekordbox, and the 3-way direction control, which allows you to instantly switch between Slip Reverse and Reverse mode.
Great DJ performances involve a fine balance between planning and improvisation, and between the power of Pioneer’s CDJ-3000 and their rekordbox software, you’ve got all the tools you need. Thanks to rekordbox, setting up beat grids, mapping out color-coded hot cue points, adding tags to tracks, and setting up entire playlists is a snap. You can access all of this via the CDJ-3000’s 9″ touchscreen, which displays dynamic waveforms and real-time track data. If you’ve ever gotten lost in your folders trying to find a specific track, then you’ll love the CDJ-3000’s Keyword Search function and Track Filter, which let you quickly find tracks on any drive, no matter where you are in the browse

Do you have FLAC files on your thumb drive? What about an SD card stuffed with MP3s or a USB hard drive stuffed with AIFFs? The CDJ-3000 is capable of handling any size music collection. You can even connect your iOS device and use the rekordbox app to load a set you made on the way to the show. In terms of rekordbox, ProDJ Link allows you to connect various pieces of Pioneer DJ equipment into a single network.
On the more traditional side, gold-plated RCA outputs provide high-quality analog audio, while a coaxial output also provides S/PDIF digital output.
