From the solo compositions of Jean-Michel Jarre to the atmospheric, cinematic endeavors of Tangerine Dream, the Wave hybrid synthesizer evokes the electric wavetable brilliance of the 1980s’ renowned synth giants. It is a long-awaited hardware comeback that has been in the works for years.
With period-correct controls and a real analog signal bath based on conventional equipment, synthesists have soared over infinite multitimbral tones and are capable of both classic 8- and 12-bit wavetable synthesis and 8-voice layering. The Wave’s creative potential is only limited by your inventiveness thanks to its outstanding modern enhancements, which include separate voice outputs, expressive CV/Gate and MIDI connectivity, and complete stereo width control.
AN OCEAN OF SONIC EXPLORATION
The Wave’s integrated wavetable production, supported by an analog signal route based on the VCF and VCA designs of the original device, features traditional wavetable synthesis control and is authorized by 49 full-size velocity and aftertouch-equipped keys.
Similarly, users can shape, bend, and develop any tone to perfection with the help of two ADSR envelopes, an AD oscillator pitch and wavetable position envelope, and an onboard LFO. Additionally, users can control the wavetable manually, adjust the stereo width, and use a dual arpeggiator engine for endless melodic and sequencing possibilities. To provide you the most versatility, all eight voices can be adjusted in split, layer, and unison modes.

Despite its conceptual ties to the 1980s, the Wave may easily be integrated with your existing equipment, regardless of how complicated your stage or studio setup is.
