Behringer‘s Proton paraphonic analog synthesizer, which features dual-oscillator harmonic functionality and is backed by Behringer’s user-friendly attitude, combines the adaptability of modern synthesis with powerful sound production. With two waveform-selectable VCOs, the contour of both monophonic leads and harmonized synthetic atmospheres is solely limited by your imagination.
Similarly, the module’s front panel provides access to ASR and ADSR envelopes, two configurable LFOs, inbuilt CV mixing tools, noise production, and other features that expand sound sculpting possibilities. As a semi-modular synthesizer, the Proton can serve as a formidable core for your existing modular setup, as well as a versatile standalone instrument.
2 ASR AND DUAL LFO FOR CREATIVE WORK
From two ASR envelopes to dual adjustable LFOs, every faculty onboard the Proton serves as a direct course to an expanse of possible sound creativity. Within each ASR envelope, you’ll have access to reverse, inverse, loop, and bounce operation controls, resulting in unique VCA and wave folder sound dynamics.
Sweetening the pot are two adjustable LFOs with five built-in waveforms, MIDI clock sync, and phase depth parameters that, along with the Proton’s 3.5mm input and output patchbays, service multiple modulative pathways for hours of exploration. Two self-oscillating, multimode VCFs complete the amalgamation to ensure maximum frequency sculpting power.
